The first half of the concert will feature contemporary compositions for Celtic lever harp by composers from California. Cheryl Ann Fulton along with soprano Susan Rode Morris and students Jennifer Hurley and Catherine Stiles will perform compositions inspired by nature: the Arizona desert, the Alaskan wilderness, and the Sierra Nevada mountains, as well as by fantasy and myths like The Lord of the Rings. The program will include pieces by Diana Stork, Shira Kammen and from the Magnatune best-seller The Once and Future Harp which features Cheryl’s compositions.
Angelorum will perform music from the middle ages for the second half.
